Luiperds Development Championships

Dear USR Dojo heads

I hope you are all keeping well.

You are invited to our first Luiperds Development Championships!

This competition is only for 13 year old students and under to compete in. Please feel free to enter your white belts, our goal is to give them a warm welcome in this friendly competition. Our focus will be to explain the rules (so that the parents also understand) as the competition continues and to ensure that the first exposure these students have to a Karate competition is a positive one.

All students over the age of 13 years will be invited to do a practical course on the day. We believe that our students have potential and we want to encourage them to learn the rules and be able to apply them practically through judging. They will of course be carefully advised and led by a senior, but will gain excellent experience in this way! This course is free of charge and we highly encourage all students above 13 years old to make use of this opportunity.
Dress code: Black or grey pants with a white buttoned shirt (a USR tie if you have one). Please wear shoes with a soft sole to protect the tatami.

We will also have table official training on this day. Most competitions are usually a success thanks to our wonderful and hard working table officials. Table officials mostly consist of family members of students and they are the key in every competition. Anyone who is interested in table official training is welcome to notify their dojo head.

We are trying out a new system that handles all admin for the competition.
To enter a student the Dojo first has to register. This can be done by clicking on the 'Registration' tab, afterwards students can be entered at the 'Individual" tab.
Please note the kata style is required, as well as the weight for the student. It won't be used for the competition so please just make all weights 0kg (I have not yet figured out how to disable this function).
