Luiperds Development Championship 2024

You are invited to our Luiperds Development Championship 2024!

This is a Kumite only competition with Shobu Nihon, Shobu Sanbon and Rotational Kumite (Nihon & Sanbon).

Date: 26 October 2024
Where: NG Nooitgedacht Church Hall, Bronkhorstspruit
Entry Fee: R300.00 per student, this includes entries for the rotational kumite.
Ages: 4 years - 20 years.

Please feel free to enter your inexperienced white/yellow belts as well, our goal is to give them a warm welcome in this friendly competition while also providing the opportunity to compete in smaller groups.
Please note that we will only be running two floors. One 6mx6m tatami and the second floor will be without a tatami for the seniors (just like the good old days!).

All students over the age of 14 years (3rd Kyu+) are invited as junior judges. We believe that our students have potential and we want to encourage them to learn the rules and be able to apply them practically through judging. They will of course be carefully advised and led by our experienced senior referees, they will gain excellent experience in this way!

Dress code: Grey/black pants with a white buttoned shirt and a tie (a WUKF/Federation tie).

We will also have table official training on this day. Most competitions are usually a success thanks to our wonderful and hard working table officials. Anyone who is interested in table official training is welcome to notify their dojo head.
Dress code: Black or grey pants with a white shirt.

The latest version of WUKF rules will be followed.
Divisions may be combined after registration has closed, where necessary.
Gold, Silver and Bronze medals will be awarded to first, second and third places.
Participation medals will be awarded in Shobu Nihon Kumite (individual divisions only).
