Get ready for the Oxford Champions Open.

Mark your calendars for the 15th September 2024 because we're coming back stronger than ever with a charity competition that is set to make a real difference. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting children and adults with autism and learning disabilities.

This tournament is a fantastic opportunity for all budding talent out there as it is specifically designed for beginner fighters.

The competition categories are as follows.

First Timer: Never competed before or took part in a maximum of 3 tournaments without placing. Placing by default doesn't count!

Novice: Have competed for no more than a year and haven't placed 1st or 2nd at a recognised event. WAKO, WKU, ICO, WKKC, ISKA. Head Coaches please use your judgment if you have a fighter that has competed a little over a year but is still a Novice, then they are a Novice! We ask you to be integral with your entries to ensure fun competitve categories

Intermediate: Have been competing for up to 3 years but never placed at a recognised event, as above in advanced categories.

We urge all coaches to exercise integrity when entering their fighters into the correct categories and we trust that common sense will prevail.

For Light Continuous fighters the categories will be Novice and Intermediate. (As we feel complete beginners shouldn't be competing in LC), again this the discretion of Head Coaches)

For all the seasoned fighters out there, we are offering Advanced Points Open Weight categories for both Male and Female for your age group. 16+ Years Male and Female categories will be battling it out for a cash prize of £250

Same direction for Just Blitz

Doors open at 8.00am. Weigh in will begin at 8.00am. Fighting will start at 10am.

All athletes enter at their own risk and Parents/Guardians/Coaches enter their children into a contact sport knowing there is a risk of injury involved.
