RANK / EXPERIENCE LEVEL

   Karate Events - Experience
   Beginner - First 3-4 Belts in respected art
   Intermediate - Second 3-4 Belts in respected art
   Advance - Third 3-4 Belts in respected art
   Black Belt

   FMA Events - Levels
   Novice - Less than 2 years of experience and no participation at a National or World Tournament.
   Advance - More than 2 years of experience or participation at a National or World Tournament.

DIVISIONS

   Karate Events
   Kata Open U18: All Traditional Katas allowed. No music or Extreme Katas!
   Semi-Contact Continuous U18: Punches/Kicks to body and no Boxing type punches to the head i.e. Hooks, Uppercuts or Straight punches. Protective Gear: Foam Dipped - Gloves and Headgear along with Shin/Insteap or Boots, Groin and Mouth piece.

   FMA Events
   Anyo/Sayaw/Carenza
   Continuous Padded Stick/Knife.
   Point Padded Stick/Knife.
   Live Single Stick
   Bangkaw
   Teams Live Stick and Padded Point

Coaches Pass
All coaches must register through Kihapp. A coaching fee is required; however, this fee will be waived if you are a WEKAF School in good standing, an Official, a competitor, or if your school brings more than 10 competitors. When registering on Kihapp, please select "Competitor" if you meet any of the eligibility criteria to avoid being charged. Please be aware that if it's discovered that you do not meet the criteria for the free pass, it will be taken away.

Ring Side Video Pass
Everyone will be allowed to videotape at the event, but it must be done either from the seats or the back of the room. Standing near the rings or along the ropes to take videos or watch the competition is prohibited. A Ring Side Video Pass can be purchased to gain access inside the Competition Area for filming; however, cheering or coaching from that designated area is not allowed.

Referee/Judge
If you plan on being a referee, please register. We will be having a meeting on TBD to go over rules and the flow of the tournament. A copy of the rules will be sent out prior to the tournament. Lunch will be provide.

Promoter reserves right to combine categories.
Divisions will be combine if there are less than 4 competitors in order to ensure competition. However, safety of competitors will be taken into consideration based on age and weight. Exhibition fights will be offered at the discretion of the Tournament Director
