Schedule of Events will be available by 12 Apr 25.
Where numbers allow you will compete within your own belt rank and age group only, however in some instances we will need to combine divisions/age groups to create a fair competition. This can sometimes result in competitors competing with different forms and techniques. Our judges are trained in how to fairly score forms and techniques should this occur. Any division that has less than 3 competitors will be combined with another similar rank/age to create a fair but still competitive event.
Categories include:
- Forms (Hyung)
- Techniques (Hosin Sool)
- Sparring
- Staff (Brown Belts and higher)
- Sword (Black Belts)
- Breaking (Black Belts)
- (World Kido Federation black belts) KiHap Hyung
Sparring - Depending on numbers you may be sparring people of different ranks but of similar age. There will be no more than one rank difference up or down. Divisions will be drawn up once registration has closed. Where possible it we will try to have same rank & age together.
There will be a food and drinks available for purchase on site.
We have a merchandise stall selling tournament t-shirts for £20. These can also be pre-ordered through your instructor.
Awards:
Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place. We will also award Grand Champion for Black Belts.
Grand Champion Criteria:
• Competitor must be a Black Belt to be eligible
• Competitor must enter the following categories:

✓ Breaking - Adults
• Competitor must score the most overall points, using the medal points listed below:

• In the event of a tie, the first criteria for winner will go to the person with the most number of gold medals. If their medal count is also the same, the tournament arbitrators will choose a form for both competitors to do. Upon completion of the form by both competitors, the judges will determine the winner by show of hands.
